We have an exciting opportunity for Support Workers to join our dedicated team at Heathdene House, situated in Govilon around 4 miles from Abergavenny next to the beautiful Beacon and Monmouth Canal.
Heathdene is a vibrant, fun and characterful service, which provides home to five male adults with complex needs.
The people we support here enjoy lots of sensory activities such as arts & crafts, cinema nights, bowling, foot spas and themed cooking nights with different recipes from around the world! Not forgetting day trips to local and distance places of interest including; Safari Park's and Museum's

Our services operate 24/7, so you will work in shifts (as allocated by your manager). This means you may need to work early mornings, late evenings, weekends and bank holidays.

Ideal candidate We believe that a successful Support Worker doesn't always have experience, but shares our vision to ensure that 'every moment has potential' for the people we support to learn new skills and to achieve their goals.
Basic numeracy and literacy skills as well as good English are a must.
An NVQ/Diploma L2 or 3 in Health and Social Care and some experience in care work would be an added bonus, but we have a fantastic in-house training team who can help you along if you are taking your first steps in your career as a support worker.
Above all you need to be kind, caring and ready to work as a team to ensure that our services are comfortable, happy, fulfilling and safe places to live.
