In the Housekeeping Assistant job, you will be:

Providing an invaluable customer focussed service to all members, visitors and staff at the Centre
Ensuring that the building cleanliness is maintained to extremely high standards
Working during busy arrival and departure periods which can be varied and demanding at times
Cleaning within all rooms, public areas, toilets and external areas as well as undertaking laundry duties and waste disposal
Ensuring all paperwork and documentation is completed and kept up to date, including various checklists and logs.
The ideal candidate for the Housekeeping Assistant job will have:

Previous housekeeping experience
A background within a hotel or residential / care facility (Preferable

This is a permanent vacancy working 18 hours per week (Saturday, Sunday, Monday - 08.00 to 14.30 with a half hour unpaid lunch).

Blind Veterans operate on 365 days per year so the work pattern for this post includes working on bank holidays, when they fall on your usual working days. You will receive enhanced rates of pay for working on weekends and bank holidays. We would also expect a degree of flexibility to cover colleagues as and when necessary.

The role is based in Llandudno and is on a salary of £8.44 per hour (plus unsocial hours allowance for weekend working).
