An exciting opportunity has arisen for a committed, highly motivated individual to join our successful Engineering team. 

You will develop and employ a variety of teaching and learning strategies, including the effective use of ILT, to ensure excellence and the achievement of course targets for retention and attainment.

As a clear and confident communicator, you will have the ability to motivate and inspire students and to create a positive learning environment leading to an outstanding learner experience. 

You will be qualified to degree level in a related subject and possess a recognised teaching/training qualification or be prepared to work towards one. 

Experience teaching; mechanical, electrical and electronic engineering on vocational programs is preferred. 

You will possess good organisational and problem solving skills. You will adopt a flexible approach to be prepared to provide cover at various College sites.

Applications may be submitted in Welsh and will be treated no less favourably than applications submitted in English.

Gower College Swansea is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of young people and expects all staff to share this commitment.  Appointments are subject to an enhanced DBS check and require registration with the Education Workforce Council for Wales.

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to completing 6 months service).
