FRCE Recruitment Group are currently recruiting for a Social Worker to join their Hospital Team for Cardiff Council.

To provide a quality social work service to children, young people and their families/careers to ensure an environment which promotes their welfare and that enables children wherever possible to remain within their family networks and to live within their communities.

The responsibilities of a Hospital Social Worker include:

- Experienced Hospital Social Workers required, you will be joining an experienced and supportive team, working in a fast paced environment to affect timely discharges from hospital.
- The qualities necessary for this role include excellent time management and prioritisation skills, the ability to effectively chair meetings; Discharge planning, Best interest etc.
- Excellent assessment skills and the ability to work with a wide range of professionals championing the voice of the Citizen at all times.

Candidates must have a sound knowledge of Social Services and Well-being act, Mental Capacity Act, Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards and The Human Rights Act, and must be committed to working in a Strength Based way. Must have experience of supervising staff.

Requirements of a Hospital Social Worker:
*HCPC registered
*2 years recent Adult Social Work experience, ideally within a Hospital setting
*An enhanced DBS that is of satisfactory level is essential

Salary: Up to £32.00 p/h, based on experience
