The Role:

Our client is one of the largest and most advanced food manufacturing facilities in Europe, with a large workforce. This is a fantastic opportunity for a HR Advisor to join this highly successful site. You will be working as part of a busy team supporting and advising the business on all people issues. You will work in partnership with managers from allocated business areas. This is a full generalist role involving all aspects of the employee lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

* Work with the Lead HR Business Partner to manage HR operations, driving the implementation of HR projects, policies and practices

* To partner with managers within the business, guiding, coaching and supporting them on people issues and working proactively with them to support and facilitate change in their areas

* Support organizational change and resource planning, including restructures, shift changes and labour planning

* Work as part of the wider HR team to deliver site volume recruitment and induction targets

* Absence management of both long term and short term absence, analyzing and reporting on data including return to work interview completion and absence rates while working to reduce levels of absence within the business

* Take an active role in employee relations on site, dealing with a busy and complex caseload whilst supporting managers to upskill in these areas

* To maintain and develop effective working relationship with on-site Trade Union Representatives

The Person:

Hold a CIPD qualification or be working towards one

* Excellent communication skills and the ability to build strong working relationships at all levels

* Excellent organization skills and the ability to work to deadlines

* A willingness to challenge constructively

* A strong generalist background including high volume recruitment, absence management and complex employee relations caseload
