Job description

We are looking for a motivated individual to join our Community Investment team with a passion for delivering high levels of customer service and helping people.  The role of the Housing Assistant is to assist the Community Investment, Housing Management, Income teams and in providing high levels of customer care. In this role you will help create vibrant and engaged communities through an increased programme of community engagement.

You will be experienced in delivering high levels of customer service, have experience of working with vulnerable people and sometimes challenging behaviour, preferably in customer service type role but this is not essential.  You will be a clear communicator, able to work calm under pressure and represent the organisation in a professional and positive manner. You will ideally have experience working in the community with volunteers, community groups and third sector organisations.

Today it is a successful community based Housing Association with over 1500 homes in the Canton, Fairwater, Grangetown, Riverside and Butetown areas of Cardiff, as well as specialist supported housing projects for young women in Roath and Canton.
