Location: Llangennech

Contract: Permanent

Hours: 18 Hours Per Week

Working pattern:9am To 3pm With Some Flexibility

Day £11.85 per hour
Sleep £8.21 per hour

Our client provides highly professional, bespoke case management to adults and children with a range of life-changing conditions/injuries.

They pride themselves on delivering a specialist service that recognises the uniqueness of every client; all with very different aspirations and challenges.

Our client is looking for a warm, bubbly, reliable individual to support a young man, who shares a fully adapted property with his parents and seeks to live as independently as possible. He has Cerebral Palsy and requires care on a 2:1 basis. The client has complex physical difficulties and he receives input from a multi-disciplinary team of therapists

The ability to drive using the family vehicle is essential.

Their client has a great sense of humour, enjoying many activities such as attending concerts and shows, as well as thoroughly enjoying the fun of watching many reality TV programmes. It is very important to their client that his support staff can engage with him on what is important to him, having an interest in what he enjoys.

The support worker will work as part of a team to provide personal care; assistance with both music and hydrotherapy sessions and other tasks relating to his and care.

The work is varied and involves assisting their client to access the local community and its amenities, along with accompanying him on outings and holidays.

At times, it may be necessary to work additional hours depending on the activities that the client wishes to attend. This may include an overnight stay

Whilst some experience in this area of work is preferred, it is not essential as a full induction and training will be provided.

This role is subject to an Enhanced level DBS check.
