Our client based in Carmarthen is looking for an experienced Marketing Assistant to provide Maternity cover from late November for 12 months.

The role:

The role is a fised term contract and will be full time working 9 am - 5 pm Monday - Friday and is salaried at £18,500 per annum.

Reporting to the Marketing Manager the Marketing Assistant will be responsible for the admin and marketing duties relating to the sales and marketing activities, supporting the marketing team and Managing Director when necessary.

Essential skills include a good working knowledge of:

The Adobe Suite, especially InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat and Illustrator
The use of social media - Twitter, Facebook, LinkedIn and Hootsuite
Email marketing delivery systems e.g. Mailchimp or similar programme
Websites and back end functions
Working with databases to maintain accurate information
Microsoft programs including word, excel and PowerPoint.
The ideal candidate will:

Possess excellent all round IT skills including Microsoft Outlook, Excel and Word (in particular mail merge)
Have an exceptional eye for detail
Have a very high standard of literacy and numeracy
Have sales and purchase ledger experience (Sage Accounts desirable) Main duties involve:

Event administration including delegate registrations, and client/Associate liaison
Updating bespoke CRM system
Raising sales invoices for events and delegate registrations
Purchase invoice processing
