Our prestigious manufacturing client in the Caerphilly area are recruiting for a Technical Administrator / Estimator into their busy estimating team.

The role will involve of the preparation, processing and submission of quotations from customer enquiries on all catalogue product ranges. You will manage customer quotes, update records and liaise with both internal & external teams.

The ideal candidate will have a good level of education, excellent customer service and administration skills, along with at least 1 years' experience within a customer service environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure that all key information is obtained in order to offer a suitable solution for the client's project/application requirements
Ensure all opportunities for up-selling / cross-selling are achieved
Ensure that the correct pricing standards are adopted for the appropriate client / project
Listen to customers, identify and understand their needs & make sure that promises made are delivered
Provide excellent customer service, being helpful, courteous and professional at all times, going that extra mile to deliver a great customer experience
Meet agreed targets, KPIs and deadlines.You will need:

Experience of commercial estimation or Technical quotes
Strong numeracy and analytical thinking
Problem solving, planning, organisation & time management
Experience of building customer relationships
Excellent attention to detail and problem solving skills
Good communication skills
Energy, drive, ambition as well as a positive, "can do, make it happen" work ethic
Adaptability - to new situations and able to work under pressure

Working hours: 9am to 5pm (Mon to Thu) and 9am to 4:30pm on Friday.
