This SEMH provision are currently seeking a dynamic and engaging teacher to support across the curriculum on a long-term basis. This independent school caters for children with social, emotional and mental health difficulties aged 7-18 who may also have a range of additional needs including ADHD, ASC and complex needs. The school has fantastic facilities and offers a range of subject specific areas including a fully equipped teaching kitchen, IT suit, separate primary school area and extensive outdoor facilities. The school specialises in supporting students who have a range of challenging difficulties, providing specialised individual support in a safe learning environment. The school offers a variety of qualifications including GCSE and vocational and strives to engage individuals through their personal interests and strengths.

In order to be considered for this role, the Special Education Needs Teacher will need to meet the following criteria:

Have QTS
Previous experience in SEMH/PRU school
Have worked with KS2-KS4
Strong behaviour management and patience
Have a strong understanding of a variety of complex needs
