An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our company in a leadership role, managing teams of leads and engineers responsible for implementing projects and change requests for our many clients.

As part of the leadership team, you will be responsible for managing all aspects of the teams, including managing the performance of your tribe of exceptional people, building agile ways of working, ensuring their learning and development, and caring about your people, in work and out. Whilst you will not need to be technical in IT, you will need to have solid experience in managing and developing teams and individuals.

You Will Be Responsible For
* Working with other business leaders in all aspects of team management.
* Overseeing and management of multiple teams.
* Creating and managing a development plan for your teams.
* Setting and monitor measurable objectives and KPIs.
* Performance management of your people; inspiring and trusting, not micro-managing.
* Leading internal team meetings.
* Carrying out a variety of operational tasks to ensure smooth running of the team and all its functions.
* Planning staffing levels and working with Talent to hire and develop new employees into the teams.
* Leading employees to meet the company's expectations for productivity, quality, and target accomplishment.
* Providing oversight and direction to the employees in accordance with the company's policies and procedures.
* Creating a culture that is consistent with the overall company's culture, and one that emphasises the identified mission, vision, guiding principles, and values of the organisation.
* Providing effective performance feedback through employee recognition, rewards, and disciplinary action, with the assistance from People Operations, when necessary.
* Handling client complaints or enquiries relevant to your teams.
* Recording statistics and the performance levels of the team and preparing reports for the board of directors.
* Arranging social events and generally motivating the teams.

You will need
* Work experience required - 2+ years in a relevant management role.

Progression Path
* Typical progression at ROCK is within 12 months, but mileage varies and your performance will drive your own progression.
