This is a great time to join my client whose core business is providing water & wastewater treatment products and process solutions to various industries that create wastewater. They are an award-winning UK based technology company that is pioneering the design and manufacture of sono-electrochemical water treatment products and systems, they are at the forefront of this technology and growing as a result of their unique service offering.

There is a current requirement for a Commissioning Engineer with an electrical bias to be based at their Swansea office and workshop facility. The candidate will be part of a team that assemble, install & commission equipment both in the UK & overseas. The company has approximately 25 staff and the successful candidate will be an integral part of this family run and operated business.

Duties and responsibilities of the position include:

* Record test results and data for FAT and SAT tests
* Support factory acceptance test (FATs)
* Complete Site Acceptance Tests (SATs) and Commissioning.
* Identify resource requirements to deliver commissioned Plant & Equipment.
* Supervision of commissioning activities of Sub-Contractors.
* Carry out Training of client personnel.
* Provide support to Site Manager for temporary works throughout project.
* Support System breakdowns and diagnostics.
* Prepare necessary commissioning documentation.
To be considered a relevant candidate for this role you will need the following:

* Experience of water and wastewater treatment processes.
* Experience of installation, commissioning of electrical, mechanical and pipework.
* Extensive Knowledge of DC control Using phase angle controllers in current loop mode.
* Qualified to the 17th edition wiring regs or later.
* HNC/HND or degree qualified.
* Knowledge of frequency convertors and motor control.
* Competent working with 3 phase 415Vac and 160Vdc Systems.
* Process commissioning experience would be advantageous.
* A positive and co-operative attitude to colleagues and clients.
* Self-motivated, reliable, consistent, mature approach to work, able to work to deadlines.
* Able to work independently and in small teams.
* Good word, Excel & IT skills.
* Good communication skills.
* An organised approach with the ability to work using own initiative.
