From its offices in Birmingham, Newport & Doncaster, RSS has over 100 directly employed staff members and a diverse contingent labour workforce that cover the majority of the UK. The company has developed a service portfolio that includes; Overhead Line Electrification, Vegetation Management, Track Access, Civils/Construction solutions, Safety Critical Resource Services, Magnetic Safety Barrier Fencing, Magnetic Points Boards, Signalling Services as well as being the UK's sole provider of Track Warning Systems.

We are looking for:

* Arborists

* Tree Surgeons

* Forestry workers

To conduct:

* Tree Removals

* Crown Reductions/crown thinning /Side pruning

* Sectional dismantling of Trees using approved rigging techniques

* Emergency work on dangerous and diseased trees

* Stump grinding

* Hedge shaping & Trimming

* Pesticide application

* Strimming & Brush cutting

The role will best suit experienced climbers/Arborists with minimum qualifications of:

NPTC Basic Maintenance and Cross Cutting (previously CS30),

Felling to 380mm/15″ (City and Guilds/NPTC - previously CS31),

Tree Climbing & Aerial Rescue (City & Guilds/NPTC - previously CS38),

Award in Aerial Cutting of Trees Using Free-fall Techniques (City & Guilds/NPTC - previously CS39),

(However, we will also consider GroundsPersons looking to progress into a climber role)

Personal Track Safety & rail experience is preferred but training may be provided for successful candidates, if required.

The work is covering both North and South Wales.
