Scientific Writer

Opportunity for a scientific writer / editor to join rapidly growing global, financially secure, award-winning manufacturing business. The successful applicant can opt to work from the company's offices either near Cardiff or Peterborough.
The company is global with four international subsidiaries and is currently achieving greater than 20% year-on-year growth. As the scientific writer, you will produce and edit scientific content for a range of brands across the group. You will be responsible for maintaining the tone of voice across these brands, working closely with marketers, scientists and business development professionals.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Scientific / technical copywriting for application notes, white papers, brochures, scientific articles, scientific posters, case studies, sales literature, technical / scientific blogs, technical manuals and specification sheets.
* Typesetting, including image manipulation.
* Supporting colleagues with the editing of their creative copy.
To be successful in your application for the scientific writer / editor position, you will need: -
* Extensive scientific copywriting experience.
* Proven editorial skills.
* Qualifications in a scientific discipline and or knowledge of a second language would be beneficial.
In return, the scientific writer / editor will receive a salary of between £38,000 - £45,000 highly dependent on experience plus benefits. For candidates who need to relocate a relocation package is available.
