Technical Business Development Manager
Global Manufacturer
£33-50,000+ large potential bonus + car + fuel allowance
Ambitious and energetic Business Development Manager to help expand the current customer base. The successful candidate will be customer focussed and will have the dedication to both create and apply an effective sales strategy to meet such an objective while specifically focusing on new customers. Stable work record is essential. FMCG or simial product sales experience
Key Responsibilities:
Responsible for built in home appliance revenue pipeline, this a Product sales role
To develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction
Conducting research to identify and capture new markets and new customer needs
Arranging exploratory and opportunity-based meetings with prospective clients
Promoting the company's products/services addressing or predicting clients' objectives
Prepare sales contracts ensuring adherence to legal compliance and guidelines
Providing exceptional customer service to build mutually beneficial relationships with our new and existing customer base
Developing current support staff commercially to improve their effectiveness in customer facing situations.
Liaising with in-country integrators, sales companies, re-sellers and distributors
Transacting target accounts
Delivering Business Plan targets specifically for the Home Appliance Division
Capturing and communicating market feedback regarding current and future products
Working with the customer and the in-house R&D team to offer the most appropriate solution for the customers specific requirements
Assisting the existing marketing team with event support, providing information on key projects and products and document review.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience Required:
Experience within the Kitchen Appliance industry would be of substantial benefit
Proven working experience as a business development manager, sales executive or a similar role
Demonstrate a successful sales achievement vs targets
BSc/BA in business administration, sales or similar field
Experience delivering technical presentations would be advantageous.
. White Goods FMCG experience would be ideal
Must have experience in the use of the basic Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Candidates will be asked for evidence of experience (present/past projects and achievements etc)
Must be able to deliver accurate and articulate reports including those of a technical nature
European travel will be expected within this role so ability to travel (sometimes at short notice) will be required.
Travel to work from Newport, Cardiff, Swansea, Merthyr, Bridgend, Cwmbran
