Working alongside a highly committed team of Essential Skills Wales Practitioners covering a wide range of apprenticeship frameworks, you will teach, guide and support learners to achieve the Essential skills Wales framework aspect of their main programme.

With a professional approach you will have current knowledge of the Essential Skills Wales framework and be able to deliver all Essential Skills Wales qualifications at all levels relevant to the apprenticeship framework. Ideally you will also be familiar with the administrative requirements of the apprenticeship programmes.

You will possess a Level 4 qualification or equivalent in relevant area i.e. essential/ key skills, experience and occupational competence to assess Essential Skills at Level 1- 3 or equivalent and level 2 (Grade A-C) or equivalent Maths and English qualification

Ideally, you will possess a Digital Literacy Practitioner’s Award preferably at Level 3, the A1 Assessor/V1 Internal Verifiers award (TAQA) or be willing to work towards.

With excellent verbal and written communication skills and strong ILT skills you will have the ability to motivate, inspire and transfer knowledge to the learner. With attention to detail you will be target driven with a strong focus on quality.
