Our client is looking for a Graphic Designer to join their team. The role will involve providing an opportunity to shape the look and feel of printed and digital marketing materials, in line with agreed brand guidelines. Working within a small, close-knit team the role holder will support the Marketing, Sales, Online and Category Management functions to achieve business and commercial objectives. From idea generation through to concept proposal and production, this all-encompassing role is ideal for a graphics all-rounder.

Responsibilities

*

Working with the Campaign Manager to generate artwork for the monthly offers booklet and printed flyers

*

Produce weekly HTML e-mail broadcasts

*

Page layout production of the annual product catalogue

*

Working with internal clients on job briefs, advising them with regard to design style, format, production and timescales

*

Developing design briefs by gathering information and data through research

*

Managing proposals from typesetting, through to design and production

*

Presenting finalised ideas and concepts to internal clients or account managers

*

Proof reading of all work to ensure accuracy and high quality is maintained

*

Design press adverts, exhibition stands, info graphics, posters, product packaging, brand literature and other marketing assets

*

Help develop brand identity and ensure all deliverable consistently follow current brand guidelines

*

Undertake in-house product photography / video production

Essential Skills

*

Experience of working in an agency or studio environment

*

Able to demonstrate creative flair and high work output

*

Experience with Quark Xpress, Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop and Acrobat

*

Excellent written and verbal skills and confident in communicating across different business levels

*

Be able to work as part of a team or on your own initiative

*

A 'completer-finisher' with good attention to detail

*

Able to work under pressure and to deadlines

*

Time management and organisational skills
