The Senior Web Developer is a pivotal role within the ILT team and you will be key in developing, designing and implementing the Web Software applications for both the Learning and Business requirements of the College. This exciting opportunity will allow you to take a lead on the technical elements of specified projects, liaising and supporting Managers in their decision making process, ensuring that projects are delivered to agreed specifications and deadlines. 

Educated to degree level or equivalent the successful candidate will be proficient in current PHP, NET and other scripting languages ideally in both Further Education and Commercial web environments. You will work effectively as part of a team to ensure targets are met and ensuring that all work complies with data integrity, security and web standards. 

With a proactive, solution focussed approach you will adopt a flexible approach to working patterns. With excellent time management skills you will share good practice with the team ensuring deadlines are met. 

Successful candidates will ideally possess Welsh language skills at Level 2 or above (see the descriptor attached to Job description) or be working towards a formal welsh qualification.

Appointments will normally be made to the bottom of the salary scale with annual increments on 1st August each year (subject to completing 6 months service).
