Medical Image Compositor
Cardiff
£10-£15 an hour
Temporary

Intelligent Ultrasound are developing A.I. systems for clinical use. We have a significant number of ultrasound video sequences that require marking out so we can train our A.I. models, for which we need your help. This is a short-term position which we envisage lasting between 2 to 3 months. We see this as a fantastic opportunity for anyone with an interest in developing skills in image compositing.

You should be IT literate, hardworking, have a good eye for detail, and have a working knowledge of Adobe After Effects or Adobe Photoshop, with the ability to use layers, Bezier masks and understand key frames. Anyone with the ability to track features and rotoscope structures within a sequence of images will be very favourably looked upon. In addition, you should be able to render to a very tight specification.

You must be available for the duration of the project. Training on the ultrasound images and associated anatomy will be provided. The post is an ideal work experience placement for newly graduated VFX or media students who want to add to their curriculum vitae, or junior compositors who want to apply their skills to an industry you may not have previously considered.

Pay rates start at £10/hr, rising to a maximum of £15 an hour depending on quality and quantity of work.
