If you are Passionate about supporting others, we are currently recruiting Care Workers Penarth and Surrounding Areas.

With your help, we support people of all ages and abilities to access everyday activities within the community and to live at home independently.

Duties may include;

  • Promote the individual’s independence at all times
  • Assisting with personal Care
  • Supporting individuals with their daily activities within the individuals home or within the community
  • Completion of individual daily reports as required to meet standards
  • Liaison with family members and significant others including external professionals
  • Embrace equality and diversity at all times
  • Be flexible and reliable as it’s essential in order to maintain consistency for the individuals we support

Essential skills;

  • Be motivated towards making a positive difference to individuals lives
  • Hold a full UK driving license and use of own vehicle
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Able to lone work
  • Utilise your own initiative as well as working as part of a small team
  • Effective in demonstrating good communication, writing and reporting skills
  • Assist in maintaining the individual’s spiritual wellbeing

Additional Information

ND Care and Support are seeking motivated, honest and reliable individuals to join our team of homecare workers. ND Care and Support provide homecare services to older people in their own homes and wider community.

Duties include but are not limited to; supporting people to maintain their home, personal care; meal preparation and to access their local and wider community.

12 months experience, a QCF level 2 or equivalent is ideal but not essential as all employees have comprehensive training. Due to the nature of the business you will need to be a car driver with access to your own car for work. In return we can offer you competitive rates of pay, flexible working hours and additional training opportunities including a nationally recognised Social Care qualification.

All offers of employment are subject to satisfactory references and an enhanced DBS (the cost of which is met by the applicant).

Our staff work with some of the most vulnerable members of society ranging from children and adults with a learning disability and people with mental health issues to older people who require personal or palliative care.

We have three ND Care branches located in Abertillery, Cardiff and Crosshands, West Wales.
