Become a Difference Maker with Pobl and provide support that enables people to live autonomously, help improve their financial capability and retain independence, dignity, respect and inclusion in the community.

The role will be varied and involve working with vulnerable people in their homes or temporary accommodation to prevent homelessness and develop skills needed to maintain their tenancies, change negative behaviour, maintain their health and wellbeing, progress to independent living and make appropriate decisions.

The role will involve working throughout Caerphilly Borough. This is an exciting and varied role, where you’d have a chance to work with clients from all different services in the area.

There is a variety of hours and contracts available for this fantastic role. You could be joining us on a permanent 37-hour basis or temporarily to cover maternity leave. Tell us what you can do and together we can make it happen!

For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.

Who are we looking for?

To be a great Floating Support Worker, you don’t always need previous experience or qualifications. A good understanding of housing related support and welfare benefits or awareness of issues faced by people at risk of homelessness would be extremely useful in the role. You’d need to be flexible, be comfortable with change and willing to go the extra mile.
