Senior Sales/Estimator Manager  

Reports to: Management

Salary: Negotiable depending on experience

Main Function: 

Senior Sales/Estimator Manager will be working within a small team, the purpose of the role is to increase UK Sales by actively supporting current and future customer’s needs, to generate and execute business development, drive and develop sales which will require a strong background in business and development marketing and managerial skills.

Role Responsibilities:

  • To assist with the implementation and running of a technical estimating sales department which will achieve sales target and budgets defined by management
  • A proven successful track record in sales and consistently achieving targets
  • Managing the day to day performance of a team ensuring that they deliver daily targets
  • Experience of supervising a sales team with experience in staff development
  • Maintain an agreed level of pro-active telephone contact with both existing and prospective customers
  • Pro-actively seek new business by targeting a combination of existing customers and prospective customers.
  • Create quotations from enquires received, which will include using the Computair system.
  • Working closely with supply chain and warehouse to ensure adequate stock levels.
  • Proactively chase quotations using a variety of means.
  • Deal with any queries with regard to despatch of goods
  • Provide suitable documentation for rooms in order for the warehouse to send with order.
  • Ensure all orders received are entered on sage.
  • Provide the management team with sales reports and KPI (Key Performance Indicators) on a regular basis.
  • Any other reasonable duties which may be required by management from time to time.

  • Educated to GCSE Level or equivalent with a C grade pass in Maths and English.



  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office packages and in particular, Excel


  • Autocad drawing an advantage
