The Company
Part of a prestigious group and yet still retaining the friendly team atmosphere this company has undergone rapid expansion with increase in headcount, turnover and profit. As a Development Analyst you will be part of an ambitious 5-year plan to further expansion and double the production capacity.

This is how you would spend your time:

- Use a range of analytical techniques, instrumentation and software such as GC, HPLC, FTIR, ICP, Auto-titration and Karl Fischer
- Developing and validating test methods and equipment
- Preparing specifications, standard test methods, operating procedures and performing risk assessments
- Taking a lead in company project work
- Conduct quality incident investigations and lead detailed root cause analysis investigations
- Manage timely completion of Corrective and Preventive Actions
- Interpreting data and adhering to strict guidelines on documentation when recording and reporting laboratory data

If you have the following skills we would be excited to talk to you:

- Relevant degree in either chemistry, biology or microbiology
- Thorough experience of all key analytical techniques and analytical method development & validation
- Experience of working in a GMP laboratory
- Understanding of regulatory bodies such as BRC and MHRA.
- Working experience of the principles of ICH Q2(R1) Validation of Analytical Procedures
- An understanding of modern Quality Control best practice and techniques.

Hours of work: Days Monday-Friday

Salary: £27,000 - £30,000
