The Role

Our company is searching for an experienced, reliable and task-oriented Office Assistant to work with our CEO, Professor Amanda Kirby and the team. The Office Assistant will be responsible for performing a number of administrative duties as well as research and training support. Normal work hours are 9am to 5pm. It may include occasional travel with Professor Kirby or the directors to visit clients and prospective clients.

The ideal candidate is highly self-motivated, professional, and capable of managing their work load and prioritising tasks in a fast-paced corporate environment. This is an excellent opportunity to join a growing company with competitive compensation.

This job is based in our Cardiff office with the potential to work from home up to two days per week, depending on current requirements.

Essential:

  • Advanced use of Microsoft packages (Excel, Powerpoint, Word)
  • Strong attention to detail skills including the ability to effectively proof read materials
  • Excellent organisational skills, ability to prioritise multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A team player, but ability to work independently
  • Enthusiastic and self- motivated
  • Strong communication skills

Desirable:

  • Degree level qualification

Additional Information

The work will include administrative support including printing, copying, collating information, booking transport/hotels, dealing with expenses, data entry and with basic research.

A Basic Disclosure Certificate from the Criminal Records Bureau will be requested for the successful candidate, in line with government contract requirements.
