37.5 hours per week (Mon-Fri) with call-out, as required

Cardiff Airport is the national airport for Wales with operators making use of the facilities for Passenger, Freight, MRO, Pilot training, General Aviation and Corporate Jet operations.  We are recruiting a Technical Officer to support the Facilities Maintenance Team.

The post-holder will be required to support the delivery of an effective and efficient technical services and facilities maintenance function across both the Cardiff Airport and St Athan sites.  Supervision of staff, along with the highest standards of Health and Safety are prerequisites.

You will hold National Accredited Certification Scheme certificates (domestic, commercial and catering sectors), be trained and competent with maintenance of HAVC system and have an IOSH or NEBOSH General Certificate.  You will also have previous technical supervisory experience and be an Authorised Person, controlling mechanically biased safe systems of work.

The successful candidate will be asked to provide a Criminal Record check to comply with Department for Transport regulations.
