HR Officer

Job Description:

  • Promote the Companies mission, values, ethos and services internally and externally;
  • Work in accordance with Bluebay Enterprises Limited policies and procedures, legislation and national minimal standards;
  • Promoting equality and diversity as a part of organisation's culture
  • Developing and implementing policies on issues such as working conditions, performance management, equal opportunities, disciplinary procedures and absence management
  • Advising on pay scale and other remuneration issues, including promotion and benefits
  • Administrating and maintaining employee records
  • Dealing with grievances and implementing disciplinary procedures
  • Developing HR strategies with corporate manager, which considers immediate and long-term staff requirements as per business needs and defining their competency skill levels
  • Support in delivering training and inductions
  • Develop knowledge, skills and behaviours. Provide honest and constructive feedback in professional manner
  • Take ownership of own objectives agreed upon and objectives for subordinates where applicable 
  • Preparing reports for senior management and ensure visibility of achieved results
  • Investigates, understand and respond to the need of internal and external service users
  • Promote monitor and maintain health, safety and security within the establishments;
  • Show respect, flexibility and loyalty to colleagues throughout the organisation 

 Staff Development and Training

  • Continuously reflect on own practice and seek to develop skills;
  • Work towards agreed performance and training objectives for the year and review progress in supervision and meetings regularly;
  • Disseminate experience and knowledge to the staff team as necessary, thus ensuring the high quality of service by staff team members.

 Other Duties

  • This is not an exhaustive list of duties and responsibilities, and the post holder may be required to undertake other duties which fall within the grade of the job, in discussion with the directors;
  • This job description will be reviewed regularly in the light of changing service requirements and any such changes will be discussed with the post holder;

Company Description

Gofal Cymru Care provides quality care and support for younger adults with learning disabilities, autism and mental health needs. We are looking for enthusiastic people to join our team working in our care homes in Cardiff or Barry. Successful applicants will be required to support service users in all aspects of daily living activities within the care home and in the community.
