Trainee Recruitment Consultant

MPS Education Ltd. are pleased to be recruiting for the position of Trainee Recruitment Consultant

Do you pride yourself on giving your clients and candidates the very best in customer service whilst continually developing new business?

This is an excellent opportunity for a highly organised and self-motivated individual to join a prestigious Recruitment Specialist within the Education Sector.

The Role:

  • To help the Recruitment Consultants in their daily tasks
  • To gain the necessary skills to enable you to eventually run and build your own desk
  • Work as a team to win new business and service existing candidates and clients
  • Various administrative tasks relevant to the role including
  • Uploading job adverts onto internal and external websites, searching CV databases and sending mailshots
  • Answering calls from prospective candidates, taking messages
  • CV screening, CV shortlisting, sending rejection emails
  • Conducting face to face interviews of candidates

The Candidate:

  • It would be helpful if you already understand the Education Sector, or have worked in this Sector in any capacity
  • Drive, determination, motivation, common sense, resilience and confidence
  • Great organisational skills and flawless work ethic
  • Strong communication skills (well spoken, well pronounced and articulate)
  • The ability to learn and work in a fast-paced environment
  • An enthusiastic team player, able to pick up routine tasks as well having a flexible approach to the various duties of the role
  • Experience of working with a range of IT Packages, including Word and Excel
  • Flexible attitude to working times - always work willing to work extra hours to ensure business needs are met (this may include some Saturdays/evenings as and when needed)
  • Full UK Driving Licence (Preferred)

Hours of work will be 07.30-16.30 or 08.30-17.30 over 5 days per week

Salary: £16+ neg. p.a. dependent on experience
