Band I £36,088 - £43,188 per annum

We currently have a fantastic opportunity for a talented and enthusiastic Communications Manager to form part of our Business Improvement Team, who will support the business to deliver improvements, in turn enhancing business performance and efficiency. Within this role you will impact both staff and residents across Wales’ top not for profit organisation as voted by our staff in the Sunday Times Best Companies to Work for List.

We are looking for an individual with a strong eye for detail and with a proven track record of delivering improvements in relation to communication and information management.

What will you be doing?

Based in our Head Office in Cardiff you will support the following areas:

  • Develop and manage external communications.
  • Utilise new approaches to improve communication and information management across the Group.
  • Manage the delivery of a full public relations and marketing service to the Group – building positive relationships and perceptions.

Who are we looking for?

Excellence in communication is so much more than the letters we send or the way we answer the telephone. Excellence lies in understanding that all the information and data we gather and hold has, at some point, to be communicated to colleagues, customers, suppliers, contractors and partners.

We are looking for an experienced manager who understands the power and opportunity truly effective communication offers to enable a business to transform service delivery and customer experience.

We want someone who will seek out opportunities across the business to improve data and information communication, making full use of new technology and digital channels and who will bring style, ingenuity and creativity so that our communication is much more than words and is truly excellent.

What is in it for you?

We are committed to providing an environment focused on your growth, and in return for your hard work and commitment you will enjoy many benefits which go further than just competitive pay, such as:

  • A diverse and enriching career with opportunities to develop and grow
  • Flexibility and time to live your life with up to 30 days annual leave and the ability to buy and sell up to 5 days, flexible working and time off for volunteering, health screening and more
  • Training and development opportunities
  • Security in the event you are unable to work due to sickness with a generous sick pay scheme and support through an employee assistance and counselling service and a cash plan benefit
  • A choice of pension, including a defined benefit scheme
  • A wide variety of employee benefits and discounts e.g. discounted gym membership
