Senior Electrician, Electricians and Gas Engineers

Cambria Maintenance Services is looking for a Senior Electrician, Electricians and Gas Engineers to join our expanding team working across South, Mid and West Wales.  We maintain over 7,000 properties for Wales & West Housing from our Cardiff office.

  • For Senior Electrician and Electrician roles you should be 17th/18th edition qualified able to diagnose faults, carry out repairs, new installations and certify your own work. A major part of our electrical work is Electrical Installation Condition Reports, (EICRs), and being able to competently complete these is an essential requirement. In addition, for the Senior Electrician post you should have experience of acting as a Qualified Supervisor.
  • For the Gas Engineer role applicants must possess recognised formal training attaining the relevant craft qualification i.e. City & Guilds, NVQ Level 2/3 or equivalent and ACS qualifications CCN1, CEN1, WAT1, CKR1, HTR1. You should also be able to undertake domestic boiler installations, repairs, commissioning, servicing and testing of all aspects of new and existing gas installations; with experience in completing all necessary paperwork to comply with current regulations and gas safe registration.
  • For all roles you must possess a current valid full driving licence with 9 points or less (vehicle provided).

These are exciting roles where the work is varied, and you could be involved in minor repairs one day and then part of a team delivering kitchen and bathroom refurbishments. The rate of pay for these roles are:

  • Senior Electrician - £15.19 per hour
  • Electrician and Gas Engineer - £14.14 per hour
  • All are a 40-hour basic week

We also operate an out of hours emergency call out system for which there is an additional payment of £175 per 7 days on call and £32 for each attended repair.

As a standard, we offer all our employees 21 days’ holiday plus bank holidays plus the option to buy up to 10 days additional leave per year.  We also offer a pension scheme, and a cashback health plan.
