What is special about this opportunity?

Clifton Place is a 29-bed project situated in a beautifully maintained grade III listed building, for single homeless, young people and families. This short-term accommodation and support scheme is for people in priority housing need. We provide housing related support to enable our clients to learn life skills and complete move-on training before we support them to resettle into the community and live independently.

The role will be varied and involve working with vulnerable people in temporary accommodation to prevent homelessness and develop skills needed to maintain their tenancies, change negative behaviour, maintain their health and wellbeing, progress to independent living and make appropriate choices.

This is a permanent post at 37 hours per week.

For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.

How can I make a difference?

Our team works to support service users to develop the key skills to achieve positive progression and to develop the skills to re-settle in the community. Project workers are expected to lead each shift and to direct the work of scheme support officers.

You will:

* Gain a QCF Level 2/3 qualification in Health & Social Care
