IT Tutor/Assessor for Traineeship Provision

Basic salary: starting at £22,000 per annum, rising to £23,500 per annum.

Additional benefits: generous holiday package, contributory pension scheme and more. Starting total Reward Package, up to, £23,500 per annum.

Base: Ocean Park House Cardiff

Contract Term: Permanent

We are looking for passionate individuals who will develop and provide skills training for learners on the ACT L1 ICT Traineeship programme. You will support the learning and development of learners (age ranges between 16 and 18) and create real opportunities for work based learning and employment.

You will educate and prepare learners to become work-ready within the routes of ICT. You will support and assess learners against level 1 QCF qualifications and Essential Skills ensuring these are achieved within particular timescales.

Applicants will have previous experience of delivering qualifications within an education setting and have skills/hold a qualification within IT. Experience of teaching or assessment is desirable as is the ability to speak Welsh. A full UK driving licence and access to a vehicle is required as some travel is to be expected.
