Job Ref:

We're looking for an experienced product manager to join a market leading technology company.
This is a brand-new role within the team and we're looking for someone who is able to take ownership of a product, effectively planning and maintaining the lifecycle from start to delivery.

The successful candidate should be able to ensure the product strategy is being maintained and that the roadmap delivers value to both customers as well as the business. Company wise the client specializes in cloud based open-platform software which lets network operators efficiently manage video, voice, and data on high-capacity digital networks so any experience in similar areas would be great!!

We're looking for someone who's customer-obsessed but in a good way! As well as someone who can bring significant experience including product development within the Communications, Media and High-Tech industries. Other than that, it would be great if you had -
* Experience using different software delivery models including Agile, Scrum, iterative, and others
* Excellent problem-solving skills
* Knowledge of BSS/OSS solutions with focus on Enterprise Product Catalog, Quote and Order Capture, Fulfilment (Order Management & Provisioning)
* Proven ability to achieve challenging goals and objectives
* Detailed knowledge of the TM Forum and related Frameworx (eTom, SID, TAM, Open Digital)
Though we don't necessarily need 100% of everything above we'd certainly recommend getting in touch if you're close! One thing we do need though is the ability to travel domestically and internationally!

Needless to say, you are a social person with great communication skills and the talent to motivate people in the right direction. You're comfortable leading the pack and guiding them to the light. Issues don't block you you either fix them or find a workaround. The Product Manager will play a pivotal role within the Products team shaping and evolving the product portfolio.
Other responsibilities include -
* Working with the Product Group Manager to help define the product strategy and vision
* Conduct market research and produce competitor analyses
* Communicate product roadmaps internally and externally, where appropriate
* Discuss and analyze customer requirements, attending customer meetings and owning the management of requirements back into the roadmap
* Plan and prioritize strategic product features
* Implement & manage Risk, Issues, Change Logs, escalating to the Product Group Manager any deviation to scope, time or budget as appropriate
* Actively manage the lifecycle of the product to ensure the roadmap and releases are being delivered on time, to budget and to an agreed quality standard
* Create & maintain release project plans
* Participate in and drive design sessions with strategic customers
If you are result-driven with a keen attention to detail and are competent with technical problem solving then this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
