Our client is a local charity supporting young people who are homeless or at risk of homelessness in Swansea. Safe, good quality, affordable housing is an issue for all young people on limited income. They know that one size does not fit all; not all young people thrive in traditional homelessness services. They have lots of ideas but will this work locally? The project to research and pilot new models of appropriate housing for young people is funded by the Nationwide Community Grants programme managed by the Community Foundation
Are you curious and enthusiastic with strong organisational skills? Do you want to find out what young people, their families and tenants want for their communities? If you are, this could be the project for you.

They are looking for:
1 x Part-time Peer Mentor Research Assistant

You will be working within a small team to ensure the delivery of the project.
They are looking for candidates with excellent verbal and written communication skills, intellectual curiosity and an analytical mind-set. A commitment to involving and working alongside young people and stakeholders are a pre - requisite. A degree of flexibility is required along with an understanding of the issues and disadvantages that young people face.
