We have an exciting opportunity for a client focused Business Development Executive who adopts a professional, confident, consultative approach to sales and business development. You will be energetic, proactive, target driven and be responsible for creating and maintaining a sales pipeline, generating leads, arranging appointments and converting sales.

Your commitment...

  • Identify new business opportunities and create a sales pipeline
  • Contact prospects to promote and sell igloo support solutions
  • Collaborate with the Marketing team on existing marketing campaigns and propose new campaigns based on market feedback
  • Connect with prospects via LinkedIn and email
  • Actively nurture outbound and inbound leads and convert to sales
  • Arrange appointments for igloo Business Partners if a telephone sale is not achievable
  • Identify areas of business development and up/cross selling opportunities with existing clients
  • Proven track record in B2B outbound sales
  • Experience in telesales / telemarketing / business development role
  • Ability to build rapport and relationships quickly
  • Attend networking events
  • Determined, self-motivated and enthusiastic with a desire to succeed
  • Ability to explore and overcome objections
  • Good written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent negotiation and influencing skills
  • Achieve and strive to exceed sales targets
  • Proactively promoting the company and create a positive impression of the igloo brand
  • Actively participate in company and client meetings

The deal...

  • 35 hours per week over 5 days - Monday to Friday (flexible working between 8am and 6pm)
  • Basic of up to £22,500 per annum plus uncapped commission OTE £30,000+
  • 20 days annual leave plus bank holidays and service based increased annual leave
  • This position will initially be based in our Newport office whilst you go through the induction process with the various departments then relocating to our Cardiff office from 1 December 2018 or sooner
  • Regular social events organised by #activeigloo
  • As much tea and coffee as you can drink and the occasional donut
