OK Kids is a successful project that works with parents, their young children and their wider networks in the familiar surroundings of their own home across Newport, Caerphilly, Monmouthshire and Torfaen. The project sits within Charter Housing’s Community Regeneration Team.

You will have a social work qualification or equivalent in health or social care, experience of working with children and families in the home and an awareness of child development and the issues that can affect children and family life. You will be an excellent communicator with the ability to work holistically with and empower families to make positive changes and help parents to problem solve difficulties.

This post is one half of a job share and you will be expected to work alongside your counterpart colleague to achieve the project outcomes.

For this post, an Enhanced DBS check is required.

You’ll also require a full driving licence and access to a car for work.
