Your Duties may include:

  • Promote independence within the individual’s homes and in the community
  • Assisting in all areas of personal care, nutrition, social, and encourage spiritual well-being
  • Supporting individuals with their daily activities within the service user’s home and/or the wider community
  • Supporting individuals to live comfortably, safely and happily within their own home
  • Enabling/supporting regular access to the local community
  • Assisting individuals to undertake daytime activities and/or outings
  • Days, evenings and weekends, waking or sleep in duties
  • Encouraging a sense of independence for the service users
  • Completion of daily reports as required to meet company standards
  • May include liaison with external agencies and family members

To be considered for these roles you must:

  • Hold a full clean UK driving Licence and have use of own car
  • Be committed to supporting others
  • Have experience of working/supporting the elderly
  • Be a motivated individual
  • Able to work alone, using your initiative and be vigilant
  • Show flexibility and reliability
  • Have an organised approach to ensure consistency for our service users
  • Demonstrate good communications skills
  • Able to support service user’s well-being throughout their daily lives
  • Be passionate about ensuring that the individual is at the centre of support delivery

We have three ND Care branches located in Abertillery, Cardiff and Crosshands, West Wales.
