Smart Solutions are looking for a dynamic proactive individual who will relish working within a fast- paced environment. The Project Manager will contribute to the business growth of appearance and performance products and brands across the EMEA region

Responsibilities / Duties

Project Management

* Take product development projects from concept through to production, under direction of Innovation and Brand Managers.
* Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects.
* Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.
* Measure project performance and track progress using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
* Manage projects in accordance with the in-house Stagegate process, and region’s strategies and
* Participate in global innovations project teams, sharing and leveraging international technologies.
* Work with and lead cross-functional teams, across multiple business sites, in an effective and proactive manner.
* Report and escalate to senior management/project stakeholders as necessary.
* Regular update meetings with Innovation and Brand Managers, and maintenance of NPD project documentation.

Marketing Support

* Handle requests for samples from cross-functional colleagues/customers/distributors.
* Manage NPD sample development and production for customer/sales presentations.
* Coordination of translations with agency and markets.
* Assist the Central Marketing team with ad-hoc requests.
* Product management for PRISMA / B2B marketing & collateral database.
* Website maintenance support.
* General marketing support where necessary.

Skills and experience


* A minimum of 18-24 months project management experience is required - within consumer product development preferred but not essential.
* Ability to multi-task.
* Strong detail orientation.
* Time conscious.
* Ability to work cross-functionally.
* Excellent written and verbal English communication and copywriting skills.
* Computer literate.


* New Product development experience within a stagegate process preferred.
* A proven record of success in coordinating product development projects.
* Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office product suite.
* Prince II certification or similar.
* Experience with CMS-based platforms.
