The Youth and Community Development Officer for the Pobl Parents Project will work with young parents across Newport and Caerphilly to co-produce Pobl Parent Friendship Groups with young parents with the aim of creating innovative, meaningful and sustainable peer support networks within their communities, using Asset Based Community Development principles.
We want someone passionate and committed to facilitate opportunities for young parents to come together and co-produce services to increase resilience, health, wellbeing and transitional skills for life. The Youth and Community Development Officer will have a genuine regard for young people, be able to engage and build trusting relationships and work in a psychologically informed way in order to achieve positive outcomes.
