What is special about this opportunity?

We provide temporary supported accommodation for adults who have been involved with Criminal Justice Services. Clients are 18+, motivated to change and willing to engage with solutions focused housing related support. Our Pobl teams provide support to people to develop the key skills needed to prevent homelessness, improve financial capability and to develop the skills to settle in the community and achieve positive progression. You will play an essential part of our team where you’d be required to work in the project and in the community - supporting people in their own homes.

This is a permanent post at 36 hours a week.

For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.

How can I make a difference?

You will assist the Support Worker to create and implement realistic goals around motivation to change lifestyle and life habits like employment, education, tenancy support and staying out of criminal life.

You will:

* Work with people to truly make a difference in their life
* Use your skills and talents to engage with people
* Support people to achieve their potential
* Develop your networking skills by working in partnership with external agencies
* Gain a QCF Level 2/3 qualification in Health & Social Care
