Manufacturing Administrator

Location: Cardiff, Memory Lane Cakes
Work Days: 4 days on 4 off, 6am - 6pm
Contract: Temporary maternity cover up to 9 months.

Purpose of the Role

To provide administrative support to the production departments within the business to ensure that all Company paperwork is in order.

Some of the Role Key Accountabilities (including but not limited to) are:

  • To enter relevant information on the Company’s Elf system with regards to transfers, absence, holidays and daily checking of clocking information.
  • To collate and gather all necessary information for the Payroll Department.
  • To organise agency orders and process through the HR Department.
  • To implement and maintain production spreadsheets.
  • To input production figures on a daily and weekly basis in order to produce performance reports.
  • To collate and manage absence and overtime information.
  • To input data onto the tracker.
  • To undertake any other administration as and when required.
  • To undertake any other Company business as and when required.
  • To ensure that return to works are completed by managers and returned in to the HR Department in a timely manner.
  • Prepare and inform the HR Department of absence and overtime figures.
  • Ensuring that clocking cards are checked and issued.
  • To be responsible for agency checks with regards to ‘sign in’ and ‘sign out’ documentation.
  • Ensuring that holidays and absence are up to date on the system.
  • Portrayal of the highest confidentiality with all Company information.
  • To ensure that managers are informed of re-offenders with regards to holidays and absence.
  • Demonstrate control of all agency staff within the department.
  • Support operational team
  • Supporting the business with the introduction of M3
  • Any other ad-hoc duties as reasonably requested

  • Knowledge of computer systems, especially Microsoft Office.
  • Excellent communication skills and an ability to work successfully under pressure.
  • Good understanding of the production process and shifts.
