Telephone Advisors

Contractual Hours:  Full time (37.5 hours per week) fixed term contracts available up to December 2018 and March 2019, working shifts with the service operating hours of Monday to Friday 9am-6pm.

Salary: a salary package of up to £17,063 per annum (pro-rata)

Location:  Cathedral Road, a city centre location, 1 mile from train stations at Cardiff Queen Street and Cardiff Central.

Job specification

The Energy Saving Trust is looking to recruit a number of Telephone Advisors on fixed term contracts,  to join our team in delivering continued excellent customer service to consumers in Wales.

You will be responsible for ensuring performance levels are met by:

  • Providing an excellent level of customer service  at all times
  • Ensuring all enquiries are answered and accurately recorded within specified service levels and timescales
  • Actively encouraging a number of number of households to implement energy saving upgrades and behaviours within their home through both inbound and outbound calls
  • Ensuring individual and team targets are achieved within specified timescales

Knowledge, skills and qualifications required

  • Proven experience of delivering high standards of customer service
  • Solid experience of working in a call centre environment
  • Excellent telephone and customer care skills
  • Good IT skills
  • Ability to speak Welsh is highly desirable
