Are you a organised, multi-talented communications professional who can not only source and create interesting articles, but also promote the Linc story through a variety of media channels and events? Would you like to work for a forward thinking and socially responsible organisation?

Linc is an expanding organisation that specialises in the affordable housing, social care and health sectors in Wales. We are looking for an experienced Public Relations and Events Lead to join our growing Communications Team. We are looking to drive the story of the Linc brand and the work that the company does is. We don’t just build homes, we build thriving communities and support those who live in them. We are looking for a dynamic individual who is skilled in storytelling, promoting a brand and has a passion for people.

Specific duties will vary but you will be involved in all aspects of our multi-channel communication, supporting the team to:

  • To present the Linc story to the outside world by communicating with the media    
  • To increase awareness of Linc’s work to tenants, residents, stakeholders and the general public via all available platforms and  media channels
  • To manage external agencies and relationships to ensure Linc’s messages are communicated correctly
  • To plan and execute events to help promote the work of various departments.

Ideally armed with experience in a PR/Events role, you will be a team player who is professional, confident, enthusiastic and flexible. With excellent interpersonal skills, you’ll be able to build effective working relationships with colleagues, management and other stakeholders including external media. You will have the ability to write copy in the form of website content, blogs, newsletter content and press releases – maximising coverage through all available media channels. You will act as a brand ambassador promoting the brand through all external channels identifying new opportunities and organising events.
