What is special about this opportunity?

We are a brand new, 24-hour temporary supported housing scheme in Gorseinon for 9 young people aged between 16 and 21 years old. The aim of the scheme is to provide support in a psychologically informed environment to clients to enable them to live independently in their own homes.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking to progress their career in support. You will have the support of your colleagues and Team Leader and you will be able to build positive working relationships within wider community networks.

Our team provide support to young people to develop the key skills needed to prevent homelessness, improve financial capability and to develop the skills to settle in the community and achieve positive progression. You will play a vital part in enabling people to achieve their goals and empower them to lead independent lives. Being part of this is highly rewarding. You will contribute to the success of the Pobl Group, which is moving from strength to strength see

This is a permanent role at 37 hours a week.

For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.

How can I make a difference?

You will assist the Support Workers in delivering a tenancy related support service to our clients.

You will:

* Gain a QCF Level 2/3 qualification in Health & Social Care
