The experienced Production Scheduler will be responsible for supporting development of production plans based on customer requirements, material availability and production capacity.
Responsibilities also include communicating with Materials, Production, Customer Service and Sales teams as it relates to forecasts, order changes, capacity, quality or inventory issues, shipment delays and recovery plans.
You will report to Senior Master Production Scheduler• Create and coordinate daily production schedules to ensure an effective flow of materials to production, efficient utilisation of labour, and achievement of customer on time delivery goals.• Work with Planners and Materials department to ensure component availability that support the daily production schedule.•
Provide support to the manufacturing lines by resolving all material issues in a timely manner and interfacing with the materials group, customer service, quality, and production personnel to ensure all customer needs are met or exceeded.
• Respond to Senior Master Production Scheduler requests to accommodate customer schedule changes; amend the daily production schedules where applicable.• Publish the daily production schedule; ensure schedule is sent to appropriate departments• Escalate and resolve delays and/or process alterations to the schedule.• Utilise the ERP system to optimise efforts to meet service levels.•
Participate in the daily management process by taking full ownership of production schedules.• Comprehend and follow SOP’s and recommend changes as required.• Work on other assignments as needed• Conforms to environmental management system requirement. Experience of working within a Manufacturing environment.

Writing and modifying MPS, Strong Planning and Analytical skills with commercial acumen.
Specific Knowledge / Skills MRP/MRP11, Microsoft office especially Excel Knowledge of 5S, LEAN, FIFO and Kanban processes. Production Planning experience is essential

£23-26,000 dep on experience + excellent Benefits Travel to work from Cardiff, Blackwood , Ebbw Vale, Caerphilly, Newport, Cwmbran
