School Cook - Caerphilly

Hours: 25 hours per week (9.30AM – 2.30PM)

Basic salary: £10,810 rising year on year. Additional Benefits: generous holiday package, contributory pension scheme, health care cover and much more.

We are looking for a motivated individual who will provide nutritious, balanced meals to our learners and maintain excellent preparation areas. You will be responsible for the preparation and serving of mid-morning snacks and lunch on a daily basis as well as managing administrative elements of the kitchen.

Our learner canteen is situated within our registered independent school, where you will engage with learners who encounter challenging behaviours therefore you will be enthusiastic and patient and will have the ability to build rapports with young people.  

Applicants will have experience of providing catering services and will be Catering qualified.
