What is special about this opportunity?

Clifton Place is a 29-bed project situated in a beautifully maintained grade III listed building, for young people, families, clients with substance misuse and mental health issues and physical disabilities. This short-term accommodation and support scheme is for people in priority housing need. We provide housing related support to enable our clients to learn life skills and complete move-on training before we support them to resettle into the community and live independently.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a nightshift role as the hours of work will be 8pm-8am Monday to Friday and 8am-8pm or 8pm-8am Saturday to Sunday. You will mainly lone-work on a rota basis with another 2 colleagues. It’s a stepping stone for your career in support. You will have the support of your colleagues and Team Leader and you will be able to build positive working relationships within wider community networks.

You will be looking after the project during the night shift hours, keeping it clean and secure. You will be responsible for Health and Safety checks along with other additional duties. You will be the point of contact for our clients, whether they need advice, support or somebody to talk to at the end of the day. It's quieter on the night shift, you will have a chance to carry on with your administration duties or carry out e-learning activities while clients are sleeping.

This is a permanent post at 36 hours per week.

For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.
