Senior Care Assistant

£8.09 - £8.59 (depending on qualifications)
We are looking for a friendly and dedicated Senior Care Assistant who is seeking a rewarding job within one of our care homes. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing a high level of care to our residents which promotes their independence while safeguarding their dignity. As part of the team, you will participate in the day to day activities of the home.
This is a temporary role working 23 hours per week.

The ideal candidate will have
- Experience within the Care sector
- QCF Level 2 in Health and Social Care
- QCF Level 3 ( This is desirable but not essential and full support and training will be provided to achieve this qualification.)
Where You’ll Be Working
Cwmbran House, based in Pontnewydd Cwmbran, provides residential care for 56 older persons in 3 separate living areas. Two units provide accommodation for physically dependent older people, another unit for the dementia care where a dedicated staff team have been trained to a high standard to provide an innovative approach to the care residents receive. A respite care facility is also available.
