What we are looking for:

SuperStars are currently looking for a Music Tutor (or as we like to call you a... ‘Music Specialist) to join our team across South Wales and the South West England for SEPTEMBER ACADEMIC YEAR start.  We are looking for organised, positive, passionate individual with strong classroom management skills. Experience of working within a Primary School is desirable, experience of at least working with primary aged pupils is essential. 

This role is perfect for graduates and current students seeking to go into teaching.

As a Music Specialist a typical week may include:

  • Developing children’s musical abilities, confidence and passion by teaching music theory and practice
  • Delivering fun music after-school and lunch clubs
  • Developing strong relationships with pupils, school staff and parents
  • Utilising pre-prepared plans to teach all thing music and song via your passion and interest
  • Inspiring children to become tomorrow’s singers and musicians
  • Supporting school productions with your creative talent 


  • A-levels or above in a Music based discipline or teaching based qualification
  • Experience working within the Music specialism
  • Must have experience working with children aged 4 – 11 (this could be in a school environment or in a coaching role)
