What is special about this opportunity?

Swansea Youth Services Team provide a 24-hour temporary housing support in the wider Swansea area for young people aged between 16 and 25 years old. We provide advice and guidance on training, education and employment. We support young people to develop independent living skills to enable them to move onto independent sustainable accommodation. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who is looking for a nightshift role as the hours of work will be 10pm-8am, on a rota basis, which might include occasional weekends and bank holidays. It’s a stepping stone for your career in support. You will have the support of your colleagues and Team Leader and you will be able to build positive working relationships within wider community networks.

You will be looking after the project during the night shift hours, keeping it clean and secure. You will be responsible for Health and Safety checks along with other additional duties. You will be the point of contact for our clients, whether they need advice, support or somebody to talk to at the end of the day. It's quieter on the night shift, you will have a chance to carry on with your administration duties or carry out e-learning activities while clients are sleeping.

Actual salary based on the 20 hours per week is £8,245 going up to £8,451 after successfully completing your probation.

For this role you will require an Enhanced DBS check, which we pay for.
