Do you have a passion for supporting people and a positive attitude? Are you looking for a flexible work pattern in the Swansea area? Our fantastic team enables clients to live independent lives in their own homes at Llys Y Werin in Gorseinon.

Llys Y Werin was the first purpose built sheltered/extra care complex in the Swansea area. We have self contained flats for people aged 55 and over and a day centre for people from the local community. Flexible care and support packages are also available at Llys Y Werin offering a domiciliary care service to up to fifteen vulnerable people which is an affordable alternative to residential care. We pride ourselves in being a friendly supportive community of tenants and staff.

These positions have the same responsibility as our contracted staff, however as a relief member of staff, you can select shift patters that match your personal needs.

How can I make a difference?

As a Personal Assistant you will be involved in day-to-day support including;

  • Providing personal care
  • Supporting people to live every day lives
  • Support, prompting and administering medication
  • Meal preparation
  • Social activities
  • Shopping and domestic duties such as laundry and general housekeeping tasks
  • Undertake relevant training for the role
